Assay Catalog and Pricing
The displayed assay catalog includes the Core's most frequently requested tests. If an analyte, panel, or biological tissue of interest is not listed, please submit a special request via our assay request form. A member of our team will contact you to discuss the needs of your project. The Core validates new assays for investigators on a case-by-case basis based on sample number and potential use by multiple investigators and/or projects.
Biomarkers Core Annual Rates
The annual rates listed below are effective September 1st, 2024 (FY25) and are provided for budgeting purposes only. Rates of individual assays may be adjusted according to changes in supply costs and availability at time of service. All rates are based on duplicate determination for each analyte per sample.
Additional charges may apply to sample types that require additional processing prior to assay (e.g., blood spots, tissue). Incomplete or erroneous sample inventory submissions to the Core result in processing delays, and additional charges may apply. Commercial immunoassay kits are restricted by capacity and shelf-life, and require a minimum number of detections to cover cost. When possible, fewer than 35 samples may be run (in duplicate) at an increased cost per sample.
Rates for longitudinal studies should project a 5% increase each year beginning September 1st. Please contact Kelly Ethun when budgeting for federally-supported projects and other multi-year funding awards as all rates are contingent upon third party costs for reagents and are subject to change greater than 5% annually.
